This is an Annual event and caters for 50 of the older residents of the village to spend a Sunday together having lunch and entertainment during the afternoon. There is usually a Sunday Roast, plus dessert with wine. Then bingo, quiz, a musical hour or so with compliments of Lumpy and the Lumpettes. Followed by tea and biscuits, a raffle and then its home time. This is paid for from the collection on Bonfire Night and is a very important date on the yearly calendar.

Clay Shoot Aug. / Sep. Bush Barn Farm
Due to popular demand there will be a summer clay shoot at the very picturesque Bush Barn Farm. The exact date is still to be published. Details can be obtained from Knobby Craddock on 07775861731. We will be putting up signs around the village, and abroad, nearer the time to publicise the event so keep your eyes open.
Robertsbridge Flower, Produce and Dog Show 6th Sep. Village Hall
A full day of events and activities as well as small stalls selling every thing from Antiques to Z Beds. Be judged on your ability to produce Flowers, Vegetables, Cakes, Displays and something for the children. Dogs will parade their owners around the ring and be judged on their ability to do as they are told. I am reliably informed the Coconut Shy and Rat Trap will be returning through popular demand. In the evening we will have a traditional Ceildh in the hall to round off the day.
